loosing (and winning) yarn chicken
Each Wednesday, I post a snapshot of the projects I’m working on, and where my brain is at.

What is yarn chicken? Yarn chicken is trying to out knit the yarn you have on hand. It’s entirely possible – until it’s not.
I’m knitting the (I hope) final swatch for the Shawl Geometry Books, but ran out of yarn three rounds plus a bind off from the end.
For most of this week I thought I was going to have to pick up another whole skein, but kept avoiding it.
And then I remembered a teeny tiny ball of yarn, that (I’m crossing my fingers) will last for the remainder of the swatch.

in which the green swatches take over (again)
Each Wednesday, I post a snapshot of the projects I’m working on, and where my brain is at.

The lime green Shawl Geometry swatches are taking over again – pushing aside all other knitting, sewing, or embroidery projects. Just a couple more swatches to round out the samples for Shawl Geometry Book Three!
