Hello and welcome! I’m Holly Chayes

I help makers, thinkers, builders, operators, creators, etc. implement solid containers for creative chaos, and functional systems for sustainable momentum, all in aid of making a life or business you love.

Right now I’m working with people and businesses in a couple capacities…

Business

Business coaching and consulting for small businesses ready to dig into the practicalities of what’s next.

When you’ve graduated from mindset-only to mindset+

When you’ve built something that functions but doesn’t flow yet.

When you’ve outgrown and overrun what used to work.

Whatever you’re stuck on, we can get you moving to what’s next.

Individual

Life and clothing magic for individuals who thought they would be more prepared for this moment.

Personal or professional.

Once in a lifetime or every day.

A surprise or something you’ve been working towards for years.

Whatever this moment is, we can get you ready for it.

new projects are distracting

I’m always working on some project or another, and most weeks I talk about what I’m working on Wednesdays as part of Tami’s WIP Wednesday project. You can see past WIP Wednesdays … right this way.

This week had one really good knitting evening, and then a couple hours scattered here and there throughout the rest of the week. If I had spent that one evening working on the-not-easter-eggy-shawl I’d probably be done with this section of it and on a different striping sequence. But I didn’t.

I started something new instead…

Some garter stitch, some i-cord edging, some tosh merino light, combine to make a very delightful and smooshy shawl.

The-Not-Easter-Eggy-Shawl did get some attention.

But again, only a little bit here and there for a total 7 rows or so.

If you didn’t see it last week: Shawl Geometry II is here! It’s got 19 uncommon and unique shawl shapes to design and play with, and you can get all the information here.
