Hello! I’m Holly Chayes. Here’s a little about me.

Holly Chayes is a writer, creative, and maker with a focus on clothing, personal style, and business as a creative act.

Her current work is focused on working with creative businesses and individuals. She helps makers, thinkers, builders, operators, creators, etc. implement solid containers for creative chaos, and functional systems for sustainable momentum, all in aid of making a life or business they love.

She works with people in a couple capacities: 

Consulting and freelancing with creative businesses on their marketing, systems and operations. She knows that running a creative business is no small feat and she delights in helping business owners make it a little bit easier and more profitable. She believes business can be a creative collaboration between the business and the market. Find more here.

She once spent a year making all the clothes she wore – she called it The Self Made Wardrobe Project.

Her background is in costume design for theater and knitwear design for hand knitters. She graduated from Bard College at Simon’s Rock, and has studied at FIT – The Fashion Institute of Technology, and MITx – The Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s massive open online course (MOOC) program.
